Who are we?
37south Events is Waikato events people and promoters of major events in the Upper North Island. 37south Events is an established and independent events acquisition and management company. Our aim is to create new body, bidding for major national and international events.
37south Events can fulfil a range of roles within the acquisition of events. As a promoter or joint promoter we can acquire an ownership position, take the financial risk and benefit from any profits generated. We could seed/sponsor an event financially to bring it to one of our partner venues or we would facilitate the use of some alternative venues through various partnership agreements.
Since it’s inception in 2017, 37south Events has helped bring together a number of events including: HSBC NZ Sevens tournaments for 2018, 2019 and 2020 at FMG Stadium Waikato, 2018 NZ Breakers vs Illawara Hawks at Claudelands Arena, 2018 and 2019 All Blacks Test matches at FMG Stadium Waikato, 2019 NZ Darts Masters at Claudelands Arena and the Corona Piha Pro.
